A Holiday Cookie Walk with the Mariposa Grandmothers @ Royal Canadian Legion
Dec 15 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Do you like cookies? Crunchy, gooey, crispy, spicy, melt-in-your-mouth cookies? Are you busy with work, kids, parties, etc. and no time to bake? Do you have wonderful memories of favourite holiday cookies made with love by your mother or grandmother? Well, we have the solution!

Come to our GRANDMOTHERS COOKIE WALK! For $15.00 you’ll receive a 9″ X 9″ X 3″ cake box that you can fill with a fantastic array of cookies crafted by our Grandmother bakers. Shoppers are given plastic gloves and walk the aisles to choose from trays full of holiday treats.

We also have a craft table featuring a huge selection of our signature $5.00 Grandmother Bags. There will also be a jewellery table with bargain-priced jewellery to add to your Christmas stockings. All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign supporting African grandmothers who are raising often as many as 10 – 15 of their orphaned grandchildren.

So, come on by and get your holiday baking done and get into the Christmas spirit with our enthusiastic Orillia Grandmothers!
