Dare to Dine is a delicious idea that came from Canadian grandmothers who love to cook and entertain, for a cause!
Invite guests to your table: friends, family, grandmothers group members or the neighbour you’ve always wanted to get to know. Guests contribute the equivalent cost of a night out – whether for supper, wine and cheese, or decadent desserts – in exchange for home cooking, compelling conversation and a good dose of levity! Some grandmothers groups choose to hold an African banquet for 30, 60, or even 100 people! It’s a meaningful way to bring Canadian communities together while raising funds to strengthen the work of African community-based organizations.
