All manner of fabric\, yarn and notions will be available at very reasonable prices. You will find supplies for anything to do with sewing\, quilting\, knitting\, crocheting\, stitching and crafting. The quilting tables and the yarn tables are always popular. Beginning sewers will find everything needed to get started: fabric\, patterns\, buttons and zippers. Everything is 1/2 price from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Admission is $2.00. It is suggested that you bring your own bags.

DESCRIPTION:This is our 16th year holding the Plant Sale and Market Place event over the Mother’s Day weekend. The Grassroot Grannies will be selling hardy perennials from their gardens along with vegetable seedlings\, herbs. Local garden nurseries also sponsor this event and provide choice annuals and hanging planters. Our famous Pretty Pots feature lovely potted annuals ideal for Mother’s Day gifts. In addition\, in the ever popular Market Place section are featured remarkable garden art created by the grannies such as painted Mandela stones\, garden gnomes\, concrete stepping stones\, teacup and saucer bird feeders as well as gently used garden tools. There is something for everyone who is interested in gardening.
