SUMMARY:An Evening with Canadian blues singer and guitarist JACK SEMPLE (Online)
DESCRIPTION:Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers Regina invites you to a memorable musical event on Monday\, February 14th at 7:00 p.m. CST\, featuring Regina’s own multiple award winning recording artist\, Canadian blues singer and epic guitarist Jack Semple. Initially lead guitarist in the late 80’s for Toronto based R & B funk band\, The Lincolns\, Semple performs extensively throughout Canada and the United States both as a solo artist and with The Jack Semple Band. \nA ‘fireside conversation’ between local singer songwriter & G4G member\, Bev Zizzy\, and Jack Semple will kick off the event\, providing an opportunity to get up close and personal with two artists talking about a shared passion. This will be followed by a 45 minute musical set\, previously recorded from the comfort of Jack’s home\, to be enjoyed in the comfort of yours. \nThe link to the concert will be provided 24 hours in advance. \nUbuntu is an African philosophy that embraces a shared humanity. Solidarity is born out of the Ubuntu spirit\, through which we feel the experiences of others as deeply as our own\, in a way that inspires us to take action. G4G Regina members and supporters feel the Ubuntu spirit with communities that support the life-enhancing programs run by African grandmothers and the community-based organizations who support them. Donations to the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers Campaign are welcome. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $20.00 or more. Click here to donate. \nTAGS\n#concert or performance\n#charity & causes\n#international aid\n#blues\n#jacksemple\n#music
