DESCRIPTION:Bid on “A Mosaic Quilt” in Support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation\n\nThis auction is the first of its kind for Ontario Mosaic Artists (OMA) to commemorate the late Jean Loney. Jean was a founding member of the Grandmothers of the Grand\, and a fellow mosaic artist from Fergus Ontario. She participated in OMA’s first group exhibition in 2021. Her artwork focused on birds and the effects of climate change. Jean’s presence and her beautiful mosaics will be missed by many. \nTo honour Jean’s memory\, 17 of the artists participating in OMA’s Putting the Pieces Back Together exhibition collaborated to produce a mosaic quilt of sorts. Each artist created up to 3 sections which were then assembled to create a unique mosaic.
