DESCRIPTION:The Hat Grannies for Africa’s annual Fabric\, Yarn and More sale will be held on Saturday\, April 13\, 2024 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at St. John’s Presbyterian Church\, 504 – 2nd Street SE\, Medicine Hat\, Alberta. All manner of fabric\, yarn and notions will be available at very reasonable prices. You will find supplies for anything to do with sewing\, quilting\, knitting\, crocheting\, stitching and crafting. The quilting tables and the yarn tables are always popular. Beginning sewers will find everything needed to get started: fabric\, patterns\, buttons and zippers. Everything is 1/2 price from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Admission is $2.00. It is suggested that you bring your own bags.

Also on display is the 20th Anniversary Quilt created by grandmother groups in Canada and Africa as a symbol of solidarity. The funds raised support grandmothers in sub-Saharan Africa who are winning the battle against HIV and AIDS one community at a time.
