Travel, History and Culture – Matera, Italy (Online)
Please join Brookbanks for African Grannies as Dr. Franco Gallippi, a professional scholar and lecturer, takes us on a fabulous tour of Matera, Italy.
Matera (Basilicata), a city that was viewed as the “shame of Italy” after WW11, became one of the most spectacular cities in Italy and a Unesco site in the early 1990s. Along with being the European Capital of Culture (2019), it is also a city in which one of the best cheeses of Italy is produced: caciocavallo.
