Visiting Zimbabwe: A Conversation with Idah Mukuka Nambeya & SLF Partners (Online)

10 June 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:15 pm EDT

For decades, community-led responses have been supporting and empowering people living with or affected by HIV and AIDS. These remarkably effective programs have only deepened over time, as their connection to their communities ensure they are cutting the AIDS pandemic off at its roots.

Idah Mukuka Nambeya, Senior Advisor to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, has visited and worked with community-based partners since the Stephen Lewis Foundation was founded. Recently, she travelled to Zimbabwe on her first international trip since 2019 to meet with The Musasa Project, Midlands AIDS Service Organization (MASO), and Chiedza Child Care Centre.

We invite you to a dynamic, virtual conversation between Idah and leaders from each of these organizations. Learn how they are continuing to support and uplift their communities throughout the challenges of the dual pandemics of HIV and AIDS and COVID-19, and how they see the future of their work.

Don’t miss this important conversation on June 10th at 11 AM Eastern Daylight time, 8 AM Pacific Daylight time, 5 PM Central African Time.
