Kingston Grandmother Connection’s 14th Market for Africa

We are excited to welcome you to our popular Market for Africa, back for its 14th year. Come to Crossroads United Church on Saturday, November 4, where you can “shop with purpose” through 3 rooms of goods: African crafts and baskets, handmade Sandglass Creations, Christmas crafts and cards, pre-loved jewellery and ladies’ winter wear, our sewing masterpieces, baking, Art for Everyone, Nature Photo Note Cards, and eco products. Be sure to take a break for a coffee or tea and something sweet.
Every purchase you make contributes to a brighter future for African grandmothers and their families, affected by the AIDS epidemic and other challenges, through the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. Part of the proceeds are also donated to Help Lesotho.
