Contemporary African Voices

FreeGothataone Moeng, award-winning writer from Botswana, in Conversation with Jael Richardson, followed by a Q&A. Liz Tuck of East Van Gogos will be our emcee for this event.
Gothataone Moeng is the author of the short story collection “Call and Response”, published in January 2023 by Viking/Penguin Random House. Her book can be found in your local public library or your favourite independent bookstore. Jael Richardson is an Ontario-based author and the founder and Executive Director for the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD).
We believe we come to know a country by reading its authors. Botswana is one of the 14 sub-Saharan countries with community-based partners working with SLF.
