African Dinner

Victoria Grandmothers for Africa invite you to an African Dinner created by award-winning chef Castro Boateng. Guest speaker is Kelly McDonald, an expert on AIDS in Africa. Also on display is the 20th Anniversary Quilt created by grandmother groups in Canada and Africa as a symbol of solidarity. The funds raised support grandmothers in sub-Saharan Africa who are winning the battle against HIV and AIDS one community at a time. They are becoming empowered and moving on to advocate for gender equality while continuing to raise and support their grandchildren. Tickets are $80 at vg4atreasurer@gmail.com.
