Victoria Grandmothers Virtual Cycle Tour

Choose your challenge! VG4A’s virtual cycle tour challenges each rider to pick the distance she can cover in the four weeks from August 13th – September 9th. Riders can use conventional bikes, unconventional bikes, e-bikes, or even stationary bikes, and cycle alone or with friends. All women 55 or older are welcome, from beginner to veteran, and it’s not necessary to join a grandmothers group. Cyclists will report their weekly kilometers to their team captain. As the grand total of kilometers grows, participants will be guided on a virtual tour of sub-Saharan Africa to meet some of the women working for the community-based organizations they are supporting.
