Birder Murder Mystery
6 May 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm EDT
$25.00Click here to email Jo McQuarrie for tickets
Steve Burrows, the renowned BIRDER MURDER MYSTERY author, will be presenting his most recent book A Foreboding of Petrels at our second Birder Murder Mystery event on May 6th. He will talk about the book while presenting related slides, explain how the petrel became the featured character, where the research took him and answer your questions.
If you love to read, enjoy mysteries, like hearing authors discuss their latest book, have a passing or passionate interest in birds and birdwatching and would love to go on a bird walk led by 2 of Toronto’s best birders, this is the event for you! Especially when there is also a silent auction, a marketplace and light refreshments.
This delightful afternoon is put on by Toronto Grandmothers Embrace, part of the Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation supporting African grandmothers looking after and providing for their orphaned grandchildren who lost their parents to the Aids Pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Because both our speaker, Steve Burrows, and our birdwalk guides Chip and Linda Weseloh are donating their time and our venue cost is modest, we are able to keep our ticket costs low. Tickets are only $25 and can be ordered through the link below.
PLEASE SHARE this event with friends and family and feel free to put it on any social media sites you use. Also, reproduction of our flyer is encouraged for posting anywhere you think might publicize the event.
If you are not already familiar with Steve’s books, you might want to check him out on Wikipedia.
Looking forward to seeing you on MAY 6 @ 1:00 at FOREST GROVE UNITED CHURCH,
Toronto Grandmothers Embrace
