Clothesline Event Celebrating Grandparents Day

A gathering of Grannies and Grandothers on the lawn of our Community Center in Hudson, QC on Saturday, Sept. 7th in support of the National Clothesline Campaign.  In addition to a clothesline with all sorts of clothes, fun items and key messages, we will have a perennial plant and bake sale.

Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign Commemorative Quilt Reception

Join GrammaLink-Africa Red Deer for the opening reception of this Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign quilt commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The quilt is titled Nurturing Generations Under the Canopy of Sisterhood. Following the reception the quilt will be exhibited in the Library throughout October. African Dinner

In Grandmothers Hands Huronia is hosting their annual African Dinner and Silent Auction. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and buffet dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.. Dinner is by donation and all proceeds go to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
