    Join GrammaLink-Africa Red Deer for the opening reception of this Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign quilt commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The quilt is titled Nurturing Generations Under the Canopy of Sisterhood. Following the reception the quilt will be exhibited in the Library throughout October.   • Bridge to Africa – A Bridge & Scrabble Luncheon

    West Van Gogos is a group of North Shore women who are fundraising to help support African grandmothers struggling to raise their orphaned grandchildren. Funds are used to pay for food, school and counselling, and to initiate income-generating projects. All proceeds from this event are donated to the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign.
